Just a status report. Again fighting with my setup.

I had some interesting days with YouTube and Jeremy Howard. Live coding 1/2. https://youtu.be/56sIyFjihEc I learned a lot about windows terminal, installing ubuntu, python using git and so on. Many many shortcuts and things how professionals do! The path these days is getting a hacker.

So far so good.

But I made a big mistake. I deleted a hidden config File and wasn’t longer able to use Ubuntu as a user, only as a root admin. I tried a lot, making a new file, editing, uninstall, reinstall Windows terminal. Back forward, read alot in the internet. Nothing helped. So I decided to delete Ubuntu and restart, but even that was not so easy. The Ubuntu App was not installed, so I was not able to uninstall it.

The solution was to log in in my admin account. There I was able to uninstall Ubuntu! But there was another surprise: wsl –install was not longer possible. Just help text appeared: options for wsl.exe. Oh I hate this installing, user, account, garbage drecksscheiß-

The hopefully right solution was now: wsl –install -d Ubuntu

We will see.
